15th Streeet Gallery in Boulder

Museum curators, artists and art collectors have been flocking to 15th Street Gallery in Boulder for more than 30 years for exceptional framing with true preservation quality (they adhere to the standards of the Library of Congress). The gallery’s reputation is sterling, with customers heading in from around the state to engage in a design process that involves expert mounting and matting with thousands of frame options. “We’re purists,” says Robert Colachico, who owns the gallery with business partner Stephen Grant. “When you bring in a piece of art to frame, you can expect it to be intact a hundred years from now.” Just as impressive, however, is the gallery’s rotating contemporary art collection, featuring rising museum-track artists.
