Highlights of the 2016 Denver Food + Wine Festival

Denver is quickly becoming a premier spot to live and eat. Not only can you find a lot to do in the wonderful mile-high cityfrom concerts to outdoor activitiesthe Denver food scene is booming, offering new and innovative places to treat your taste buds!

The Denver Food + Wine Festival, presented by co-sponsors Colorado Restaurant Association and Southern Wine & Spirits of Colorado, is the perfect celebration of all that is best about food in our city. Throughout the week, the Denver Food + Wine Festival highlights industry impact, promotes workforce development and celebrates Denver as a culinary destination.

The 12th annual festival, September 6-11, 2016, saw over 4,200 attendees over the course of the week. Visitors explored the creations of more than 40 top restaurants and wine and spirit professionals. Check out the festival program here!


Grand Tasting: A showcase of more than 40 restaurants and 700 wines and spirits, and the region’s award-winning chefs, mixologists, and wine and spirit professionals on the grounds of the Pepsi Center.

Culinary Cinema Series: An evening of food and film inspired by Spanish style food and wine.

Dinner Under the Stars: Six chefs prepare a 6 course meal at Blanc Event Center.

Shake Down: A soulful culinary experience and cocktail experience.

Rise + Dine: Denver’s first-annual Brunch festival, with samplings from some of Denver’s best brunch joints.

The Denver Food + Wine Festival benefits the personal, educational and professional development of youth; nonprofit partners include The Denver Post Community Foundation, Metropolitan State University of Denver and Colorado ProStart, operated by the Colorado Restaurant Association Education Foundation.
