Need another reason to head to Colorado's high country this fall? Round up a group of mountain-loving wine drinkers for the Breckenridge Wine Classic, hosted among the autumn foliage from September 12 – 15, 2019. Tailor-made for foodies and oenophiles, this four-day event will walk guests through the art of pairing food with drinks, as well meet-and-greets with master sommeliers.
Over 500 different wines, beers and spirits are on the menu for sampling while visiting the old mining town. While there are many unique offerings from the California Dreaming Hike and Lunch to the Spanish and Porteguese meals at Iberian Influence, the Classic’s key can’t miss events are Stroll Breckenridge and the Grand Tasting.
4:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Meander throughout Breck’s cultural hub on Main Street for wine tastings hosted at local art galleries, restaurants and historic spaces. With as many as 10 to 15 different samples available, this is a great introduction to what the rest of the weekend as to offer. This night also will specialize in mixology and creative libations at each of the participating locations.
First Session: 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm | Second Session: 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm
The most popular event of the weekend, the Grand Tasting offers the largest and most impressive selection of international wines, premium craft beers and spirits, and gourmet bites from local eateries at Riverwalk Center.
