Description

Greystar’s Parq on Speer, Denver’s much anticipated 16-story apartment and retail community, is partnering with Denver’s premier art gallery, Walker Fine Art, to host a special “Worq of Art” event on Friday, June 21.

Open to the public from 6 to 9 p.m., the event is free and will feature art by renowned contemporary artists Kellie Cannon, Chloe Hedden, Bryan Leister, Lennon Michalski, Angela Piehl and Zelda Zinn; food and drinks; giveaways; and a charity raffle with prizes including artwork featured at the gallery, spa and ticket packages for the Denver Performing Arts Center. Proceeds from the drawings will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®.

Guests at the Worq of Art event will enjoy captivating art in the loft-style gallery while enjoying craft cocktails – including the special “Parqtail,” a refreshing grapefruit spritzer – passed appetizers and a “paint your own kabobs” station. Tours of the leasing gallery at Parq on Speer, located just down the street from Walker Fine Art, will be offered – giving guests a glimpse of the luxury community. Tours will include desserts and champagne.

“With Parq on Speer located in the heart of Denver’s Creative District, we believe that art will be an important aspect of our future residents’ lives,” said Mai Olaussen, director of development for Greystar. “We hope the community will join us in celebrating the artistic talent that Denver has to offer, while supporting a national cause that’s close to all of our hearts.”

Located on Speer Blvd. and Bannock Street and situated on two acres, Parq on Speer is slated for completion in October 2019, with move-ins to begin in August. The 302 total residences will include studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans – and penthouse suites – with square footage spanning 546 to 3,478 square feet.
