This summer, from June 25–29, golf enthusiasts will head to The Broadmoor, where premier players age 50 and older—like Fred Couples, Pádraig Harrington and Ernie Els—will compete in the 2025 U.S. Senior Open, conducted by the USGA. Attendees can expect a fun-filled week of championship golf and fan activities, such as browsing limited-edition Senior Open merchandise and opportunities to engage with the pros. A variety of ticket options are available, including 50% off general admission for military service members through Championship weekend. Children 17 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult.

The Broadmoor ensures a welcoming atmosphere, from family-friendly activities to convenient seating options, catering to lifelong golf fans and newcomers alike. Teens and children can enjoy interactive experiences at the Juniors Golf area. Free parking and a complimentary shuttle to the event simplify logistics, and a mobility shuttle is available on course to help elderly and disabled guests access the farthest areas of the golf course.

The USGA’s return to The Broadmoor is significant. David Fox, championship director of the 2025 U.S. Senior Open, notes that this will be the ninth major golf championship hosted at the historic resort. The East Course will host its third U.S. Senior Open, tying the record for the most frequently used playing site. “The resort opened in 1918, and Jack Nicklaus had his first major win here in 1959 at the U.S. Amateur. Annika Sörenstam won her first major title here at the 1995 U.S. Women’s Open. World Golf Hall of Famers Jack Nicklaus, Juli Inkster and Annika Sorenstam have won USGA titles here. Most recently, David Toms won the U.S. Senior Open title in 2018.”

With a rich history of hosting major tournaments, The Broadmoor is known for creating unforgettable moments—and the 2025 U.S. Senior Open will be no exception.”The Champions Club, located on the second floor of The Broadmoor Golf Club, provides spectacular views from the Donald Ross Patio overlooking the 18th green and sweeping mountain vistas to the west.  Pair that with chef-created Broadmoor catering and robust beer and wine options and our hospitality, guests are certain to have a memorable experience,” Fox explains.
