ZENsei Clothing: "I love the soft fabric, its hip-yet-flattering colors and styling, and the powerful positive messages written on the clothing."

Olavie Le Vin wine therapy products: "These are some of the best-smelling products I've ever encountered. And they're full of antioxidants culled from the seeds of Chardonnay grapes, and feel luxurious against your skin."

Total Feng Shui by Lillian Too (Chronicle Books, 2004):  "Making my workplace more harmonious not only allows me to be more productive, but also helps me be a more positive influence on my team."

Ella Stimpson just might have the perfect job. As the director of the Spa at the Five-star, Five-diamond Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Stimpson oversees one of the country's most luxurious spots. “My job is to make people feel fantastic,” she says, adding that she and her staff of about 100 employees serve between 300 and 400 guests a day in the 43,000-square-foot spa. “If we can help people relax, we enable them to be more creative, more focused and more balanced when they go back out into the world.”

A self-described “feng-shui nut,” Stimpson takes her own well-being very seriously. A fountain bubbles happily in the southeast corner of her office, where classical music plays quietly and sheer curtains mask her bookshelves, “because principles of feng shui tell us that bookshelves are hyper-stimulating,” she explains. And what does this guru of relaxation recommend for those of us who don't spend our days at the spa? “You need to have a quiet space that's all yours,” she says. “When I had young children, that space was my bathtub. Now I get such peace from the outdoors.”
