This Enormous Elk Antler Chandelier is a Showstopper

Custom-designed for a game ranch’s lofty great room, this expansive fixture is the epitome of rustic luxury.

With the privilege of tall ceilings comes great responsibility to command the space with something fit to scale—and in the main house of this homeowner’s game ranch compound, the expectations were high.

The solution? A 10-foot-by-eight-foot, 550-pound custom-designed chandelier, crafted from jumbo six-, seven-, and eight-point elk antlers.

The ranch—comprised of a main home as well as three nearby guest homes—wraps around a 23-acre lake, with exotic deer roaming the property. What better way to accentuate the great space and pay homage to its Western site than with an expansive rustic light fixture?

The chandelier was built in three pieces so that it could be transported to the ranch and then assembled and installed on site.

The result is a dramatic space punctuated by a large-scale work of rustic art—the perfect feature for a hunter’s lodge-inspired home.
