Before & After: 3 Dream Backyard Transformations



The warm months have arrived here in sunny Colorado, which means barbecues, roasting s'mores, and taking a dip in the pool. And while this wonderful state offers plenty of excursions to camp, swim, and enjoy the great outdoors, why not bring these summertime staples into one's own backyard?

Take a look at these three Lone Tree, Colorado, backyards before and after they received a fairy-tale transformation—just in time to dine al fresco, under the stars.

MAKEOVER #1:
The homeowners wanted to create an outdoor-dining space for family and friends to get together.

The backyard went from boring to the perfect barbecue setting! Here, a kitchen and bar area, plus a fire pit. 

 

MAKEOVER #2:
The homeowners wanted to transform their somewhat small space into a wonderland for their kids.

Mission accomplished!  The drab yard was seriously upgraded to include a pool, spa, sport court, kitchen, several fire features, trampoline—even a small putting green and playground.

 

MAKEOVER #3:
There was a good amount of space in this backyard, but it wasn't being put to its best use.

The finished product? An inviting hot tub area with a privacy lattice, kitchen, and fire pit. Now the outdoor space can be used year-round!
