Museum of Contemporary Art Denver

Transforming the museum inside and out, this exhibit by Los Angeles-based artist Cleon Peterson includes larger-than-life murals and paintings. Often inspired by Peterson’s own troubled past, his work depicts stark, black-and-white bodies entangled or carrying out actions of rage, violence and mercy. In addition to occupying the entire third floor, Peterson’s art will wrap the museum’s exterior, for all passersby to experience.
