Aspen’s Annual Art Festival Turns 17

The perfect excuse for a weekend getaway

Fear not if you couldn’t snag tickets to Aspen’s highly anticipated (and in-demand) Food and Wine Classic– the cosmopolitan ski town has another hit festival on their summer lineup: the Aspen Art Festival. Downtown Main Street’s Paepcke Park will be revamped into a plein air gallery from July 20-21 for their 17th annual celebration of culture and local artistry.

A Howard Alan event, the gala invites art enthusiasts to peruse (or buy) the upscale products on-hand from life-size sculptures, photography, glass, paintings, ceramics, one-of-a-kind jewelry, and mixed media.

While you’re at it, pop into some of Aspen’s most high-end boutiques, or nosh on delicious fare and cocktails while exploring and taking in the glorious views of ranges like Buttermilk Mountain.
